SEIA elects new board members from 15 companies

The Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) announced new at-large and elected board members.

Solar and Storage companies Enphase Energy, Freedom Forever, Nautilus Solar and Array Technologies are among those becoming SEIA at-large board members. Representatives from 15 companies were elected to the board.

The elected board members will serve two-year terms as division chairs and vice chairs, state affiliate representatives and alternates. New elected board members and division chairs include:

  • Gil Hough, Tennessee Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA Affiliate Representative)
  • PJ Wilson, Solar and Energy Storage Association of Puerto Rico (SEIA Affiliate Alternate)
  • Dana Clare Redden, Solar Stewards (At-Large Elected Director)
  • Thomas Plagemann, Posigen (At-Large Elected Director)
  • Joy Seitz, American Solar & Roofing (At-Large Elected Director)
  • Elizabeth Sanderson, Solar Energy International (At-Large Elected Alternate)
  • Karla Loeb, Loeb Clean Energy Consulting (Distributed Generation Division Chair)
  • Jennifer Mrzlack, PSG Energy Group (Distributed Generation Division Vice Chair)
  • Costa Nicolaou, PanelClaw (Manufacturing Division Chair)
  • Kendra Hubbard, Hyundai Energy Solutions America (Manufacturing Division Vice Chair)
  • Adam Chrisman, Sunearth (Solar Heating and Cooling Division Chair)
  • Chris Diaz, Seminole Financial Services (Solar Services and Consumers Division Chair)
  • Laura Jones, Hunton Andrews Kurth (Solar Services and Consumers Division Vice Chair)
  • Gilbert Campbell, Volt Energy (Utility-Scale Solar Power Division Chair)
  • Joshua Dorfman, American Wire Group (Utility-Scale Solar Power Division Vice Chair)

SEIA board chair George Hershman, who is CEO of SOLV Energy, was also re-elected to another two-year term.

The new additions come as the solar industry aims to be the leading form of new electricity in the U.S. SEIA’s goal is for solar to make up 30% of U.S. electricity generation by 2030.

“The Solar+ Decade is here, and the addition of these leaders is part of a broader coalescing in the solar and storage industry as we work toward a vision of being the dominant form of power on the grid,” said SEIA President and CEO Abigail Ross Hopper.
